Reporting to the Director of Process Development, this position will be responsible for contributing to Evolve’s portfolio of proprietary products. This person will leverage acquired skills in mass spectrometry with skills in bioprocessing, and/or analytical/food chemistry to influence both current and future work streams within the Company. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Research and Development team to contribute to ongoing research and product development.
  • Analyze samples from a variety of sources via mass spectrometry to determine specific composition.
  • Develop new protocols, analytical methods, and prepare standards/reagents.
  • Rapidly integrate new knowledge and novel tools into research.
  • Troubleshoot as needed, and develop new methodologies in support of broader R & D and Process Development work streams.
  • Prepare reports and careful documentation of findings to support research.

Director Health Alliance

Evolve BioSystems, Inc. – Field Based Position in the USA

Reporting to the Senior Director Medical Sales & Operations, the Director Health Alliance (DHA) serves as an integral member of the sales and operations team.  Ultimately, the primary mandate for the DHA will be to create short-term and long-term business strategies to optimize product revenue via national accounts (Distributors, GPOs, IDNs, etc.), ensure profitable institutional access, maximize outcomes for reimbursement, execute service agreements, and develop health economic initiatives.

The DHA will deliver continued breakthrough results, while concurrently building our Health Alliance capabilities focused on sales goals and maximizing revenue. The challenges are wide ranging and exciting.  The role demands a highly developed strategic ability, superior sales skills and an entrepreneurial, team-oriented approach. The DHA will thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help develop, frame and implement the health alliance sales strategy to meet or exceed business objectives and support the medical and institutional sales strategy.
    • Develop and lead the national account strategy for the hospital-based products; including prioritization and implementation of GPO, distributor and health system business.
    • Lead strategic and tactical plans to maximize adoption and uptake by payers, providers, and patient access groups by integrating policy and healthcare market dynamics into the business planning cycle.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert within the health alliance priority areas to inform various cross-functional strategic projects; effectively work in a matrix environment to drive teamwork, integration and engagement.
  • Leverage analytical skills to identify, assess and recommend medical sales business priorities utilizing clinical data, competitive intelligence and contracting initiatives.
  • Develop, review and modify health alliance business plan on a proactive basis.
  • Support the development, implementation and integration of a planning discipline that enhances strategic customer development and facilitates decision making.

Help align reporting, training, and incentive programs with these performance management priorities.

Medical Sales Manager

Evolve BioSystems, Inc. – Field Based Positions in the USA and Canada

Reporting to the Director of Medical Sales, the Medical Sales Manager serves as an integral member of the sales team and will be responsible for delivering breakthrough sales results, while utilizing industry best practices and emerging sales techniques. Primary Health Care Professional (HCP) call points will be neonatologists, nurses, dietitians, purchasing, pharmacy, general pediatricians and OBGYNs.  The Medical Sales Manager will thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver sales and meet/exceed sales objectives for the Evolve BioSystems product line (90%):
    • Drive rapid market adoption of Evolve’s products via strong HCP recommendations as well as institutional adoption and sales
    • Implement the medical and institutional sales strategy
    • Develop deep understanding of the competitive landscape and prioritize opportunities
    • Plan and execute programs and activities such as, but not limited to, in-services, webinars, value analysis/pharmacy & therapeutics meetings etc. necessary to drive sales
    • Apply the sales process, organize & communicate clinical information to build customer confidence & drive sales
  • Business Planning and Territory Management (10%):
    • Develop a quarterly business plan, execute the plan, and own the results while maintaining and expanding customer base

Senior Accountant

Evolve BioSystems, Inc. – Office Based Position in Davis, CA

As a Senior Accountant, you will play an integral part in establishing and implementing financial processes and ensuring accurate monthly financial statements are available to management within a reasonable timeframe. This role will own the day to day processing and analysis of accounting transactions and will be system savvy and solution oriented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate as a key contributor to the monthly financial processes
    • Analyze revenues and follow up chargebacks
    • Complete the sales & use tax reporting
    • Oversee the accounts payable and expense reporting process
    • Review inventory & COG analysis
    • Ensure bank accounts are reconciled
    • Differentiate fixed assets and update depreciation
    • Update prepaid and accruals
  • Play a leadership role in designing and implementing accounting processes and procedures
    • Lead the transition from “outsourced accounting” to “company owned” financial processing
    • Create policies that govern spending, travel, processing, etc
  • Manage the human resources activities
    • Perform the bi-monthly payroll ensuring up to date accounting records
